We met in March of 2000, via the internet. We had chatted online for quite a bit and then moved to talking on the phone. We finally decided we should meet. We met up, and the day will be burned into memory forever. Within a month, decided to start dating. It was rocky in the beginning, but we made it through the "ups and downs", and here we are EIGHT YEARS later!!!
Our Wedding is planned for Saturday, May 10, 2008. We chose this date to keep our wedding anniversary close to our "dating" anniversary - so Mike wouldn't have too many dates to remember! :0)
The ceremony will be held at the Clarion - Nantasket Beach in Hull, MA, in the "Nantasket Ballroom" at 4:00 p.m. The reception will follow, upstairs in the beautiful "Surf Ballroom".
There are alot of feelings swirling around, as we get closer to the date. But among the feelings of stress, and anxiety, are feelings of excitement!!! It is going to be such a beautiful day, I hope you can all join us to celebrate!
As mentioned in the previous paragraph, the reception will be held following the ceremony. We will have the most beautiful scenery, overlooking Nantasket Beach, in the "Surf Ballroom". Can't wait to see what the room looks like as the sun starts to set!
We will have a wonderful dinner, followed by some fun & dancing for the rest of the evening. We look forward to extending the celebration of our special day with all of you.
We have planned our Honeymoon as a cruise to the Western Caribbean. We thought it would be a good idea, as the cruise ship departs and returns just minutes from our house, which means there is no airfaire or hotel accomodations needed!!!
It is the first time we have left the country, so it is exciting for us! I can't wait to visit the Royal Caribben private island in Haiti, where we will spend our first day. Then we are off to Ocho Rios, Jamaica. From there, we visit the Grand Caymen Islands. Our last stop is Cozumel, Mexico, and then it's homeward bound!!!
We can't wait to return home with stories and pictures from our fantastic honeymoon (and our first trip outside the U.S.!!!)
